Pricing – transparent commission
There is no listing fee to appear on CateringMatch. The 3% commission on total contract value is due only after a successful match or order assignment via the platform – as stated in the Terms.
Example calculation
- Contract 3,000 RON → commission 90 RON
- Contract 5,000 RON → commission 150 RON
- Contract 10,000 RON → commission 300 RON
You set the per-person price and offer. Catering payment is between you and the client; the platform invoices commission separately.
Participation requirements
To stay credible with customers, we activate caterers who can show they operate legally. Usual documents for verification:
- Company details: CUI / VAT ID and Trade Register number
- Food hygiene / DSVSA permits (or equivalent) where the activity requires them
- A real contact person, phone and business email
- Civil liability insurance – recommended if you have it
Coverage area
We pilot Cluj-Napoca and nearby towns: Florești, Baciu, Apahida, Feleacu. You can also list other places you actually serve – no invented coverage.

Must I accept every request?
No. You only reply to requests you can deliver. There is no automatic acceptance duty.
Who sets the price – me or the platform?
You do. The platform intermediates; offer and per-person pricing stay your responsibility.
When and how do I get paid?
Catering payment is between you and the client. Platform commission is invoiced separately after match / order assignment.
What documents do I need for verification?
Typically: CUI/VAT and Trade Register details, hygiene/DSVSA permits where required, real contact details. Liability insurance is recommended.
How long until I am activated as a partner?
After we review your application. We do not invent a fixed SLA – we contact you after review when details check out.
Can I cover only certain event types?
Yes. State in the application what catering you offer. Matching takes that into account.
What if I cancel a confirmed order?
The catering contract is between you and the client. Cancellations affect that relationship and may lead to platform suspension in case of abuse, per the Terms.
Do I receive the client’s contact details?
Contact details are released according to the booking flow – after the confirmation steps on the platform, not before.
Is there exclusivity?
Under standard terms there is no mandatory exclusivity. You may work other channels unless you sign a separate agreement.
